Intel hotspots whose severity is fused from live reporting, conflict zones, USGS quakes, GDACS alerts, chokepoints, 210 military bases, 250 nuclear sites, 88 pipelines and 86 submarine cables — each toggleable, on a 6H→7D time filter.
The wire
Around a hundred curated feeds across fourteen beats. Near-duplicate stories cluster across outlets, so a headline carrying ×4 means four independent sources ran it. State-affiliated outlets are tagged, never hidden.
Markets
Futures, global indices, FX and rates, energy, metals and crypto with intraday sparklines — so a crude spike and a critical headline are read together rather than in two tabs.
Hazards
USGS earthquakes and GDACS red/orange/green alerts, ranked and mapped. M6+ events and red alerts escalate into the signals column automatically.
Signals
Reporting surges on watched hotspots, multi-source corroborated critical stories, and market↔geopolitics convergence — each signal shows the evidence that triggered it.
Instability
A per-country composite of structural baseline, news velocity, escalation language, disasters and hotspot proximity. Click any country to see the factor breakdown that produced its score.
Method
The instability index, the signal list and the tension gauge are heuristics over open data — weighted sums of things you can see. Every weight is printed in the interface and every score opens into its own factors. They are not classified assessments, not model predictions, and not calibrated forecasts; they are a reading of what the open record is doing right now.
